What buyers ask before award
Are you registered on the Central Supplier Database?
Yes — our CSD number is MAAA0007382. National Treasury's CSD registration is mandatory before any organ of state may transact with a supplier, under SCM Instruction 4 of 2016/17. The number is published on our Government & Tenders page so it can be verified before award rather than requested inside a bid window.
What is your CIDB grading?
We are registered with the CIDB under CRS number 10016445, graded PE 5SF, 1CE, 1GB and 1SQ, active to 20 August 2028. The 5SF grading in the Special Fire class determines the contract value we may tender for; the civil, general building and specialist grades cover the builder's work that fire installations often carry with them.
What is your B-BBEE level?
We are a Level 1 contributor — a 100% black-owned Qualifying Small Enterprise, confirmed by sworn affidavit valid to 20 April 2027. That carries a 135% B-BBEE procurement recognition level and the maximum preference points under the 80/20 and 90/10 preferential procurement systems. The affidavit downloads with the rest of our compliance pack.
Can you provide a full compliance pack for a tender submission?
Yes — it downloads from our Government & Tenders page as a single PDF: a supplier-detail cover sheet, the CIDB certificate, the SABS permit for SANS 1475-1 and 1475-2, both SAQCC Fire technician registration letters, and the COIDA letter of good standing. Two items are sent directly rather than published: our SARS tax compliance PIN, because the PIN gives its holder access to our live tax status, and the signed B-BBEE affidavit, because it carries a director's identity number. Ask and both come back the same day.
